The Path to Purchase- How Shoppers are Taking Control

Agenda: Retailers can influence shoppers at key decision points along their path to purchase.  Join this web seminar to learn how retailers can win in an era of transparency and shopper empowerment!

Today’s shopper is entering their peak consumption years much more informed.  They are technology savvy, and new technologies are shaping the way they shop.  It is easier to compare product pricing, quality, and view reviews with the click of a mouse or a scan of a UPC bar code.   Previously, shoppers did research on higher ticket items, but are now using technology to make the best purchase decisions for all products and services.

RetailNet Group has researched shopping behavior, and will present how the future shopper will:

--Manage trips and household consumption very differently
--Search much differently
--Have new references for price-value and quality

How can a retailer meet and exceed shopper expectations?  How do you convert shopper research into a sale?  This session will explore these questions and more.

Speaker: Our speaker for this event is Keith Anderson, Senior Analyst at RetailNet Group, responsible for North American research practice and Transformational Capabilities practice, including shopper insights and marketing, social media, mobile commerce and marketing, in-store media, and price optimization tools. Additionally, he leads RetailNet Group's Future Leader and Shopper Insights groups, advising leading retailers and consumer goods companies on forward-looking growth strategies.
